Threadneedle, advised by Bray Fox Smith, has agreed lettings with two existing Globeside tenants to take over 33,000 sq ft at the Thames Industrial Estate, which sits alongside Globeside Business Park. Tactical Fulfillment Solutions has taken an additional 24,634 on a 5 year lease, as well as negotiating a new lease on its existing 13,914 sq ft premises. Techtronic Industries (UK) Limited has taken a 8,536 sq ft industrial unit on an 8.5 year lease, in addition to their offices on Globeside Business Park.
Patrick Fox of Bray Smith Fox comments, “Threadneedle had considered redeveloping these sites, however Building S cried out to be refurbished and there was pent up demand from within the Park and in the wider market, due to a lack of quality space in the M40 corridor.
“By re-negotiating a new lease on mutually advantageous terms with Tactical Fulfillment Solutions and providing the tenant with a larger additional unit for a subsidiary company, our client has both retained and increased income at a significantly lower outlay. The letting to Technotronic has provided a much needed demonstration space for clients, close to their existing offices.”
The now fully let Thames Industrial Estate is next door to Globeside Business Park, which comprises a campus of high quality headquarters office buildings around a central pedestrianised boulevard. Existing tenants include Whistl, Telefonica UK Ltd, Techtronic and Icon.
