St Albans Stands Strong In Northern Home Counties Office Market
Rockspring Property Investment Management has fully let its 50,000 sq ft Verulam Point office building in St Albans, Hertfordshire, highlighting the strength of the city as a business location.
Insurance giant Aon has taken the final 22,000 sq ft of space in the 50,000 sq ft building at a rent believed to be £21.50 per sq ft on a 10-year lease, with a break option after five years..
Other occupiers include Luxottica and RL Polk.
Rockspring carried out a comprehensive refurbishment of Verulam Point which is located on Station Way, close to St Albans’ principal station, including introducing a new entrance.
Paul Smith of Bray Fox Smith says: “St Albans continues to out-perform its rivals in securing major tenants, and on terms in excess of £20 per sq ft, in what is a very difficult period for the northern Home Counties office market.”
