Exton Estates secures south east office development funding
Exton Estates, the development company run by Stuart Bedford and James Mawson has secured funding for a new office scheme in Taplow, Buckinghamshire.
The 11-acre site Wyeth Laboratories has been been bought for £6 million with backing from Scottish Widows Investment Partnership. The site has scope for 100,000 sq ft of offices with a residential element of 50 houses.
Rob Bray of Bray Fox Smith advised Exton Estates and he believes that this
deal is another illustration of institutions adopting a positive approach to
development in the region. The limited supply of prime and deliverable sites provides excellent opportunities.
Exton intends to submit a planning application in spring 2011 but will engage with key occupiers to discuss bespoke solutions for space requirements.
