The Chancellor Welcomes First Tenant To Havelock Place, Hastings
Following the successful acquisition of the Lacuna Place by the University of Brighton, where Bray Fox Smith advised the purchaser, and the sale of One Priory Square to Saga, the third phase of the Priory Quarter development has recently completed. Havelock Place totals 24,192 sq ft and the letting agents Bray Fox Smith, Cluttons and Dyer & Hobbis have secured the first tenant, Medica Group, who took the 5th floor of 3,820 sq ft on a 10 year lease, 5 year break at £17.50 per sq ft. They were welcomed by the Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne, who was at Havelock Place for the official opening.
A further phase of 37,000 sq ft of offices will follow and the master plan allows for up to 400,000 sq ft of office space.
