Blackberry puts Thames Valley HQ search in motion
Blackberry manufacturer Research in Motion may soon be leaving its home in Slough as it launches a search for a new 120,000 sq ft European headquarters in the Thames Valley.
The Canada-based company is keen to consolidate its UK personnel into a single office building and is considering new-build and existing properties.
The group currently occupies Threadneedle’s 78,000 sq ft Thames Valley Court complex on Bath Road in Slough and 70,000 sq ft next door at SEGRO’s 200 Bath Road. Leases on the two properties expire in 2015.
