Exemplar to partner Crown Estate in Regent Street redevelopment
Exemplar, the private development company run by Dan van Gelder and
Clive Bush, has pulled off it’s most high profile scheme to date by
being selected by the Crown Estate to redevelop a key site on Regent
Street.
The site is located on the western side of the street and is currently
the home of Burberry who is moving out to the former Habitat store 100
yards away. The new scheme will create retail units with high spec
offices on the floors above.
The appointment is testimony to the vision and skills of Clive and
Dan who have steadily been building their business during the downturn
and now enjoy key development positions in the space starved central
London market.
And to have been picked by the Crown is no mean feat. It chooses it’s
bedfellows very carefully and Exemplar will have pipped some bigger
and better known companies to land this gig.
