Bray Fox Smith mandated for 170,000 sq ft of South East offices
Bray Fox Smith has won mandates to market three significant schemes in the West London and Thames Valley markets bringing forward 170,000 sq ft of offices.
In Maidenhead Rockspring, RREEF and Bell Hammer have appointed Bray Fox Smith alongside Cushman & Wakefield to market their 66,655 sq ft speculative office development Tor at Hines Meadow in Maidenhead town centre.
The joint venture partners plan to be on site with the four-storey headquarters scheme by summer 2012, with completion expected in Q3 2013.
In West London, Standard Life Investments and Neptune Developments have appointed Bray Fox Smith to work alongside Montagu Evans in marketing new space at their 135,000 sq ft Ealing Cross (pictured above) development.
CoStar News revealed in January that media company Red Bee Media was moving out of BBC Broadcast Centre in White City to take 28,000 sq ft at the scheme. Online polls business Toluna has also taken part of the second floor at the scheme.
A further 80,000 sq ft of offices is now being marketed at a quoting rent of £30 per sq ft. Finally, on Uxbridge high street Bray Fox Smith has been appointed alongside Strutt
& Parker to market refurbished space at Aviva Investors’ 140,000 sq ft The Atrium.
A formal launch of the 26,139 sq ft of offices will take place on 3 May with quoting rents set at £26.50 per sq ft.
The agency wins follow on from former DTZ head of South East office agency Richard Harding’s move to Bray Fox Smith in January. Harding said: “We are delighted to have been selected for these high-quality instructions in the West London and Thames Valley markets reflecting our emphasis on senior level advice on high-quality instructions for key clients.”
Bray Fox Smith was launched in 2009 by well-known agency trio Paul Smith, Rob Bray and Patrick Fox. Smith, Fox and Harding all joined DTZ after it was taken over by Donaldsons while Bray was the former head of office development at Cushman & Wakefield. Harding worked with Bray and Smith originally at Weatherall, Green & Smith.
